Well it looks like Microsoft is not as secure as Bill and the Ballmar would like to thing that it is. I am thinking with some of the most recent truths on Windows Vista that Bill should look into Branson real estate for his next venture.
MS paid for several 'safety' studies of Microsoft Windows Vista. Most have been shown to be a farce. With Microsoft Windows Vista being no more secure then Windows XP.

Finding WIFI
Trying to find a New York Bed and Breakfast that serves up wifi is sometimes a hard thing to do. The good news is once you find them the seldom charge extra.
One time ata really nice hotel in Minniapolis wanted to charge me $10 for a night of interent. I really hated it and it irritated me.

More on Business
When dealing with all the things that are for business, one thing that I noticed has helped more then any other has been personalized pens for promotions.

Improvements.
Being a tech junkie, I have to love how things change and improve. Golf Equipment is one of those changing areas. I have set of clubs from 30 years ago. I guess this shows how much I golf.
Well I went out and used a set of rental clubs the last time I played. And I was able to hit so much further and straighter.
We often do not think about some of the changes in technology. But this one is really cool. I may actually go more then once every other year.

Laptop on Vacation
One of the fun things about Condo Hotels and the such is the free wifi that is offered. While this is good for business people. It is really bad for people on vacation.
One in four people are taking a laptop on vacation.
Here is a hint. Do not take a laptop on vacation. It is not a vacation if you take a laptop.

Computer and the Future
I am not to sure how deal with the Tenuate of some of the technology.
I think that there will be some massive things coming through. The bad news is that many companies own differing patents to make the best item, like a cell phone.
If all these companies came together then we could have a great phone and eve more computer items.
So as you can tell I am not a fan of the current patnent situation.

the iPhone is Coming
With the iPhone coming out many people are quite excitied. I am one of them
to bad I still a year left on my phone.
I would love to have internet on my phone to search for things from driving directions to Organic dog food to the nearest stores.
Okay I would want to read my blog. Well not that I really do that as that would be rather vain. I wonder if blogger is going to change some items for smaller pages.
For that fact I wonder if new sub domain will come out called iphone.
Can't imagine that a domain will be just for iPhone.

Well I have figured out what every vacation home rental does not need.
Internet.
A recent report says 1 in 4 people take a laptop on vacation or holiday to stay in contact with the office. If you are in contact with your office . . . it is NOT and I repeat NOT a vacation or holiday.
Leave your laptop at home and enjoy the world. You will not recall, I was so %#)$)*%^#$%()#@# glad I checked the office.

Carrying a compter
I am amazed at how computer luggage has changed over the years. Many years ago c.1992 I had my first laptop. A Powerbook 100. I loved this computer to no end. Still one of the better computers I had.
The only bags were targus ones and they were small. I know have a leather computer bag and I can carry all kinds of stuff. Including teacher edition textbooks. Not to bad.
I have some older ones and they have really changed over the years.
Well have a happy day and go look at new computer bags.
